The Dragon’s Loyalty Award!

I LOVE you guys so much, because I got an award, and HOW?!!

The lovely Parisian Pages – who I still refer to as Moonlight – nominated me for this. She is such a lovely and sweet person and if you haven’t followed her, do so along with the blogs I’ll be nominating cause I love them all.

The Rules (adapted a teeny bit because I can’t copy and paste skills yes)
1. Display the award on the blog. GUYS, how do you do this?!
2. Celebrate your win by writing a post about it, and link to your nominator.
3. Nominate 6 deserving bloggers for this award.
4. Link to your awardees – nominees? What’s the right word?
5. Write 7 interesting facts about yourself. (I’M NOT INTERESTING)

The ‘interesting’ facts

1. When I was about 5, I had this… I think it was like a chair with a cover and it span round, and I used to pretend I was going on a journey to space and under the sea with one of my friends. Whatever happened to that chair? Think I broke it.

2. I can’t open either eye properly- I can only really open the left eye if I try, but normally, they’re half-closed which makes me look tired all the time.

3. I was in a film. A LITTLE film, okay?! It’s… I…

4. I was in Call the Midwife. For 2 seconds. And you couldn’t see me but shh.

5. My tollerance for spice is legendary, in that it’s basically nonexistent. By that, I mean I CRY WHEN I EAT THE BAREST HINT OF SPICE. My mother’s Malaysian so in THEORY, I should be used to it because she eats spicy stuff, but I grew up, well, NOT eating that. WHOOPS.

6. The first crush I got on a girl was on my friend Pine who was homophobic at the time, and I didn’t even realise it was a crush. Thank god that ended. That’s REALLY AWKWARD OH NO

7. When people tickle me, I go completely crazy and start laughing hysterically. YUP, I’m clever.

AND my nominees, together with a description of them – ish.

Dziey – a really awesome blogger who leaves FANTASTIC comments.

L – a good, real life friend of mine who’s blog is great.

Selfie – someone I genuinely consider an inspiration and who has always helped me through the bad times.

Georgie – I found her recently and I think she’s great; her posts make me so happy.

Jerrod – a really sweet guy who’s comments make my day.

Sam – possibly my oldest blogging friend who I actually became friends with on my old blog, and who’s posts are the best thing you will ever read.

I hope you liked that! Also, has anyone got any recommendations of new blogs? As in, bloggers that’ve just started? Or, ARE you one?

From Elm πŸ™‚

The Sunshine Blogger Award!

YES! I got an award. Okay, Elm, stop gloating now…

Right! So, Miki nominated me for this thing – thank you SO much, Miki; you’re fantastic and so is your blog!

The Rules:
1. Thank the person who nominated you (done!)
2. Answer the questions from your nominators.
3. Nominate 11 (except I’m doing 5) other bloggers, and set them (11) new questions to answer (except I might not do 11).

I NEED to stop being a rebel!

Miki’s Questions:

1. If you had to pick a theme song for your life, what would it be and why?
Oh man. I have NO idea… Literally, I have no clue. WOW ELM! I won’t be a moron and say “no song captures my life fully!” because what the hell.

2. What’s your favourite flavour of ice cream?
Chocolate. Or oreo. Oh, my life.

3. Which of the 7 Deadly Sins do you most associate with?
Jealousy. HAHA. Is that even a deadly sin?!

4. How do you perceive love?
As a terrifying, beautiful swirl of emotions, a little like a sea, that can cool you or throw you around like a rag doll, and is as deep and mysterious as the ocean.

5. Are you a bookworm, what are you reading right now, or what have you recently read?
I AM a bookworm! And oooh, I recently read Trial by Fire by Josephine Angelini and also The 5th Wave by Rick Yancey. READ THEM!

6. Would you rather be unable to go on the internet for the rest of your life or not be able to listen to any music for the rest of your life?
Tricky. Probably not listen to music… OH GOD NO WAIT, but the internet has done so much for me; probably go without music. I don’t know!

7. What’s a random interesting fact about you?
I was born 16 weeks early.

8. Have you ever truly hated anyone, and who (if you’re okay with revealing that?)
Yes, I think I have. And this girl in my year, let’s call her Daisy; she’s just a horrible, horrible person.

9. It’s the zombie apocolypse – pick a (reasonable) weapon to defend yourself with.
Something that can smash in skulls. A fucking machete.

10. When was the last time you cried, and why?
Ooh… I think it might have been last week? The mother was being a total bitch and yeah…

11. What has blogging done for you?
It’s given me the best friends I could ever have asked for. It’s helped me when I’ve literally thought life wasn’t worth living any more. It’s picked me up and been my home and been what I live and breathe.

And I nominate:
1. Elle

2. Nikki and Amy – either of you do it, or both!

3. Virtual Girl

4. Luna

5. Mia

And your questions – screw it, I’ll do 11 for the hell of it.

1. If you could pick one time period to go back to that was before the 1900s, which would you pick and why? “From any country).

2. Would you rather go without feeling pain, or feeling sadness, for the rest of your life?

3. What’s your earliest memory?

4. Do people from real life know about your blog, and why/why not?

5. What’s a little thing, or habit, that you find really irritating in someone?

6. Who’s a blogger that you find really inspirational? (Just saying, mine’s this girl).

7. What would you say is one of the most important qualities that someone can have? (Like kindness, loyalty etc).

8. What’re 5 things that you like about yourself?

9. What do you often do for Christmas, like a tradition? (If you celebrate it, that is. If you don’t, what do you usually do for other holidays?)

10. What’s the most beautiful thing you’ve ever seen?

11. If you could remove one bad thing from the world, what would it be?

Thanks so much for reading! If you’ve already been nominated for this, sorry! Also, you don’t have to accept it if you don’t want to.

The One Lovely Blog Award

Casually screeching cause I GOT AN AWARD!

THE RULES: WOW, dramatic much?
1. Thank the person who nominated you.
2. Add the award logo. (Sneer. How?)
3. List 7 facts about yourself.
4. Nominate people to carry on the award.

Okay, so I have NO idea what to write… HEY, let’s bullshit it!

1. I should be preparing for history coursework, but instead, for the past 3 hours, I’ve been talking to this awesome person on this potentially weird app that’s a LITTLE like Omegle, but better.

3. When I was younger, I used to have massive tantrums where I’d dive onto the floor, kick my legs and scream the place down.

4. My old tweets and Facebook posts are horrific and cringeworthy – Aiden, was it you that said ages ago that I should post some of them here and do sarcastic commentary? I really should; that’s a great idea.

5. I used to have a huge phobia of sand, where if I stepped onto it, I would cry.

6. I still have a fear to the point of crying of bees, wasps, flies and ANYTHING that buzzes. Don’t even mention the word hornet to me.

Thank you SO SO SO much to tsb365 and Girl Shadow for nominating me to do this tag! It means a hell of a lot.

1. Respond and rework; answer the questions and replace one you ‘dislike’ with a question of your own.
2. Tag 7 other people to do this tag!

So, even though they’re quite beauty orientated, I’m going to take the questions from TSB365’s post, because she nominated me first.

Lies We Tell Ourselves by Robin Talley. That book is so fab and I’m ALWAYS obsessed with it. You should seriously go read it… *hint hint*

My phone. Okay, that’s a smart-arse comment.

13. What can you not live without?
My friends.

14. How was your childhood?
Good, apart from that time when my parents got divorced – yeah, I didn’t realise that was a bad time THEN, but now I look back on it… Eh.

15. What do you wish you had in your hand right now?
Honestly, nothing really.

16. What would you like to get rid of?
The part of my personality that decides to think it’s funny to go “HEY! Let’s make you feel REALLY UPSET FOR NO REASON!”

And also, world poverty, extreme pain, terrorist organisations and discrimination /racism/any form of prejudice that leads to violence and pain.

17. What are you most excited for?
Seeing my friends again when school starts, but also seeing S at some point this year. EWWWW.

But I feel too crappy to do them. OH GOD, that sounds worse.

I don’t. have an excuse. I just feel a little crappy, but that’s no reason to not do the awards.

The Allergic to O Challenge

*breathes* Why doth life do this, for me to perish forthwith, that I must subject myself to this torture?!

That literally made no sense, but who cares?

The infuriating Aiden nominated me for this. And I know I said I wouldn’t do challenges until I got home, but this is an exception.

Ugh. Right… What am I doing? Oh yeah.

So, this was originally called the Allergic to E Challenge, created by Asil, but Sophie – from Sophie Speaks Up – modified it, as explained in her post.

Okay, here we go: PARAGRAPH. STARTS. NOW!

Eh, mate? EH, y’think I isn’t clever? Huh, I’m right angry at that, ye miserable peasants – THAT’s WHAT I CALLED YA, deal with it and perish. Perish, la la la la la, – EH! Quit glaring at me like that! Y’think I’m irritating? MATE, that whatcha tryin’a say? Well, I’ll tell ya, I ain’t half as irritating as ye! HAAA, BURN! Tsk, shut it; just cause I’m cleverer than ye. Get rekt.

What the crapping hell was that?!!! I think that’s even more screwed up than my last challenge – Allergic to E one. I don’t… What…

ANYWAY! I nominate:

1. Dreams and Movie Screens

2. Sunny

3. One Life Let’s Live iT

4. Unfashionable Cupcake

5. Lora

I hope you enjoy doing this challenge. Muaahahahahaha.

My 5 things about the future:

3. I want to go away somewhere to university that isn’t close to my house.
4. Having kids is in NO way on my priority list until I get settled, but even then I just don’t really want them. (Remind me to write a post on that).

The Dragon’s Loyalty Award

(This award is so cute d’aww!)

Expect 2 posts today within a few hours or less of each other. God, that’s going to make me feel vastly uncomfortable.

So, I got nominated for this twice. WHAAAAT?! Thank you SO, SO much to the all-around amazing and awesome bloggers, Aiden and Every Word You say for nominating me for this fantabulous award! πŸ™‚

The Rules (I have a routine going, don’t I?)
1. Put the award logo on your blog. (Guys, how do you do this?)
2. Thank the person who nominated you, and put a link to their blog. (Done and done; you’re both wonderful).
3. Nominate 15 other blogs.
4. Let your nominees know you’ve nominated them.
5. Write 7 facts about yourself.

2. I often can’t pronounce the word ‘paper’ without saying the R at the end in an American/Irish way. Paperrrr.
3. I had a boyfriend when I was 12, but I only went out with him because I wanted a boyfriend. He lives in Brighton, about an hour and a half away from me, and we met on a weekend with loads of other blindy people. WELL DONE, ELM, *CLAPS*
4. I am genuinely afraid of litter, and I have no idea why.
5. Saying the word ‘milk’ makes me feel seriously uncomfortable, to the point where I feel ill when I say it. EEEYY.

7. I find it easier to talk to someone over Skype or on the phone than I do writing to them, but I find it easier writing to them AND speaking to them over the phone than in real life. No idea why – then again, it depends on the person.

UUURGH. I’m exhausted. Hope you SOMEWHAT enjoyed reading that? πŸ˜€

The Allergic to E Challenge – AGAIN

Well, I’m on a roll today! (I knead to make a bread pun with that…)

I’ve done this challenge before. But seeming as Asil is a cheeky bastard, I’ve been nominated for it again.

I had a god-awful piano exam that has convinced me I NEVER want to do grades again. To distract myself, I’ve embarked on this adventure.

Look at his post for more info, but here are the rules:
(Asil, sorry I didn’t copy and paste them straight from your site but my computer can’t do that because it’s… Crap)
1. Write a whole paragraph (a paragraph sounds easy, right?) without any of the words containing the letter E (still easy for ya?)
2. By reading this, you are already signed up.
3. Challenge at least 5 other bloggers to do the challenge. They must do it within 24 hours, or it is considered as failure.
4. If you fail or pass, suffer in Asil’s Hall of Noobs
5. If you win, wallow in Asil’s Hall of We
6. You receive a pingback to your post to know if you have passed or failed.
7. To make it easy for Asil to keep track of your progress, link back to his post – you can find that when you click on his name, which I linked above.

Okay. My paragraph starts NOW!

This is difficult. What am I writing? I am not a noob, am I? That is awful. NO NOOBS! NO NOOBS, I say! Go, you villain; drown in conflagration! BOOM! What? I’m cool. Fools. Psh. Told ya I could do this.

And that, kids, is my paragraph. What the actual hell was that?!

Right, my nominees. Muahahahaha…

1. Senseless Scrutiny
2. Mon
3. Every Word You Say – go wish her happy birthday! πŸ™‚
4. Sophie Speaks Up
5. thatweirdbrowngirl

Have fun, guys! πŸ˜€
